It’s been pretty cloudy and drizzly lately. And it gets *cold* at night. Morning frost is a regular occurrence, and the furnace in the car and in the house are humming. I’ve been wearing a t-shirt under my dress shirt.
I still haven’t been wearing socks. I don’t have nearly enough pairs to go a whole week anymore. I will need to figure this out, as even the short outside trips from house to car have started making my toes pretty chilly.
I have also been trying out oatmeal as a warm breakfast. I really dislike it. Something about it disagrees with me. I’ll try out some other hot cereal.
It’s been pretty cloudy in the evenings when I drive home (and also dark at 4:30 — yikes), but the mornings have been fairly clear. This leads me to believe that there is some good astronomy to be had, if one gets up insanely early.
The holidays are here; it’s time to bundle up.
