Rainier Watch
My coworkers who sit next to the window keep the blinds closed, so it’s harder for me to see the mountain. It’s mostly clear out today, but I can see just the base of the mountain; the tops are obscured … Continue reading
Rainier Watch
Another clear day. skies are cloudless. Air is fairly crisp, shouldn’t get above 65 today. This is the time of year that I moved to Washington, all those years ago, to attend UW. I will never forget standing on the … Continue reading
Rainier Watch

Rainier watch
A very hot and sunny Labor Day weekend. The sky was essentially cloud-free all weekend, including at night. It was clear at 2am when I went to bed last night. This morning, the mountain is in stark contrast against a … Continue reading
Rainier Watch
mountain partially obscured behind puffy clouds. Sky about half cloudy, clouds all puffy. whitish haze near horizon. It was socked in clouds all morning, just now clearing up around 2pm.
Rainier Watch
It’s been cloudy the past few days, and was very cold last night (both kids woke up with blankets still covering them, perhaps for the first time ever). Today, there is feeble sunlight peeking through a high thin haze. Things … Continue reading
