Rainier Watch

We are now in the period of the year where you get a few days of clouds and rain followed by a few days of sun (or partly cloudy). The nights are also clear some and cloudy some. It’s a “go look up” kind of thing.

The mountain has been visible the past two days, but not all of it. The peak has been capped with a lenticular all day today, and so there’s a “band” of visibility between the low hanging clouds (ceiling has risen from ~10k’ to ~25k’ now) all day. Yesterday, mountain was visible low contrast against clouds late in the day.

It got up to 75° either yesterday or the day before. It’s pretty gray out today, though.
