Rainier Watch

It’s been cloudy the past few days, and was very cold last night (both kids woke up with blankets still covering them, perhaps for the first time ever).

Today, there is feeble sunlight peeking through a high thin haze. Things are throwing shadows, but it’s not very blue sky out there. More whitish grey with a blue tinge.

The mountain is barely visible against the whitish haze in that direction. But it’s there.

The clouds are thin and streaky, look a bit like contrails.
