Well, the day has finally come.
The house is empty, we slept in sleeping bags on the floor last night, because the moving truck took the beds (and everything else) away yesterday.
Most things about the move are going very smoothly, and the packers and movers are the top of the heap in that regard. They are making the move, simply, wonderful.
The sadness about leaving California has not hit me yet, although I have been pretty testy this week.
Today, we drive to Yosemite. One last California adventure.
So long, Bellflower, and fare thee well, California, the home of my desires.
