Weather report

It was clear and cold for a couple nights.

Sunday and today ( Wednesday ), it snowed at Hilltop, with minor stickage, but it quickly disappeared under rain or sun.

I got to see the planetary alignment ( moon, Venus, Jupiter ) in the western sky right after sunset. Very pretty.

I am more and more convinced that I can make use of an observatory here. The skies a pretty dark, and there is some opportunity even in the dead of winter.

As an astronomer, I’d be remiss to neglect mentioning that it’s a leap day today. It’s Lucy’s first one.
