We’re homeowners again. Still. Um. My little clan now owns two homes. Yes. One in CA, and now one in Woodinville, WA.
After a run-of-the-mill 30-day closing period, with all the attendant crazy paperwork and phone calls involved, we finally got keys to our new house.
The place is very nice, needs a little work, but has some grandeur. We will have to convince the resident bunny rabbit not to eat our vegetable garden, or else.
Things still feel very unready for move-in, as we’ve given various people a little extra time to get their junk out of the yard, and because it’s been a rental (second place a in a row, hmm…), there’s some spit and polish needed before it’s really ready to roll.
We’ve got time before we need to move in, and we’ll be using that to get everything as hospital corners as possible.
In all, I’m happy with the purchase. It’s starting to feel like we’re going to land this convoy at some point.
