Rainier Watch

I aim to create a count of days on which I was able to see Mt. Rainier from the window in the office.

I feel that this gives me some idea of whether it’s cloudy or clear, although it’s partly cloudy today and I can see the peak.

I hope to eventually be able to be more granular in my estimate, by knowing the names of the intervening sets of hills, but for now, I will make this a very binary function; either I can see “it” or not.

Today, I can see Mt. Rainier all the way to the peak, dimly realized against a background of clouds. I believe that it is the 5th time I have seen the mountain in the 3+ weeks I’ve been working at Expedia.
